Is "A" the top league, and "B" the second league? There are many more games of "A" than of "B" at this site, in the latest edition of "B" I saw some games of Lee Changho, who may be out of the super top of players. I am looking forward to the new edition of "A", that probably will start in May and will last until November: lots of top games from Chinese and Korean players.
Kind regards,
Paul
'A' is a proper league similar to many European football leagues: each team has to play all other teams twice, one home and one away (although in practice the locations can be anywhere). The bottom two teams get demoted.
'B' runs in a more compact form like a Go congress: teams gather in a place to play seven consecutive rounds. The top two teams get promoted.
'A' league is significantly more popular and attracts good sponsorship. For this reason, teams in 'B' league often pay good prices to invite strong guest players (mostly from Korea) in order to gain promotion.
Good to see top players get lots of opportunities to play each other. Although the teams may be not so significant to us, the games are pretty exciting often. Great that you report on them extensively!
Kind tegards,
Paul
