world ranking

The Korean has been releasing quarterly world ranking lists since 2010. Some old information about this ranking system is available at:

http://gogameguru.com/top-20-pro-go-2010/

Some Chinese sources have the most recent list:

http://post.weiqi.tom.com/s/F2000B055714.html

I will translate it when I have time. The basic message here is that the top seats are shared by the Korean and the Chinese. Japan unfortunately becomes quite irrelevant in world stage.

It's kind of embarrassing for Japan. If their pros didn't have domestic tournaments to compete in, a lot of their pros, such as Iyama Yuta or Yamashita Keigo, wouldn't have a title to their name! Hope this changes soon.
