Japanese OVER40 Hayago Tournament

Overview:
The Japanese OVER40 Hayago Tournament is for senior players that are at least 40 years old. The tournament was first introduced by the Nihon Kiin in 2014.
Tournament Format:
Up to 64 players are distributed in four qualifying groups. The four group winners compete in a small single-elimination main tournament to decide the champion.
Prize Money:
500,000 JPY
Time System:
The qualifying games are super fast: 10 seconds per move and each player can go beyond 10 seconds (up to 1 minute) for 3 times. The main tournament games are relatively slower: 30 seconds per move and each player can go beyond 30 seconds (up to 1 minute) for 10 times.
Ruleset and Komi:
Japanese rule with 6.5-point komi.
